Exhibition of Artists Prints at The Oriel Ceri Richards Gallery, Swansea, inc. Picasso, Matisse and Miro.

A fantastic exhibition on only until Feb 13th. Its like walking into a room or sunshine. 

.Many of the world’s leading artists have enjoyed making posters for their exhibitions. These often took the form of original lithographs, printed by some of the great Parisian ateliers. The poster, by nature, is ephemeral and mint copies are rare so we are delighted to offer you these beautiful original examples.

The Big Painting Challenge on BBC 1

On Sunday BBC 1 at 6pm The Big Painting Challenge series begins hosted by Oona Stubbs and Richard Bacon. It features 10 amateur artists being given different challenges throughout the series. I think they are looking at landscape first.Looks Good!

Art Exhibition of The Ostreme and Grand Theatre Art Group

The Ostreme and Grand Theatre Art Group Art Exhibition at The Arts Wing, Swansea Grand Theatre is on from August 27th-Sept 6th.

The Art Group consists of two art classes taught by professional artist Zoe James-Williams.

I was absolutely thrilled with the team work from the group, selling raffles, donating prizes, helping putting up the exhibition and donating wine and nibbles for the event. They were absolute stars.

We were all thrilled that Paul Thorburn,  a former Neath RFC and international Wales rugby union player who played at full back and captain of Wales agreed to open the exhibition.

We are also very proud to announce that we were able to raise £300 to be shared between Stepping Stones and Hill Community Trust from our raffle. Thanks to all the donors of the wonderful raffle prizes and all the of the group that sold tickets like crazy!!

Raffle Prize for The Ostreme and Swansea Grand Theatre Art Group Exhibition

An exhibition of drawings and paintings inspired by Dylan Thomas, Gower and other subjects. Representing the rich variety of work by a group of artists led by professional artist and tutor Zoe James-Williams in The Arts Wing, Swansea Grand Theatre, Aug 27-Sept 6.

The exhibition will be officially opened by Former Welsh Rugby Player Paul Thorburn
We will be supporting with a raffle 2 local charities
The Hill Community Trust and Stepping Stones.

We are very lucky to have been donated some fantastic raffle prizes worth in total over £500 .Donators include, SA3 Bistro, PA's, Smokehaus, LC2, Swansea Grand Theatre, Cover to Cover Bookshop, Whites Swansea Rugby Club, Maxines de Paris Boutique, Black Orchid Florist, Newburys Chemist, Harrisons Stationers, Zoe James-Williams, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Colliers Photographers, Crundles, Kardomah, Carlton Hair Design, Rowberrys,  Precious Pearl Jewellery plus chocolates, champagne etc.

Feature in South Wales Evening Post for 'Inspired by Dylan' Exhibition

A lovely feature in South Wales Evening Post featuring my Art groups exhibition 'Inspired by Dylan' in Oxfam Bookshop, Castle St, Swansea. On until June 19th Thurs. 
There will be a Create Night at Oxfam on Tue June 17th 7.30pm for all 'creators' to discuss their art work including artists featured in this exhibition. Me included!!
